چکیده
The increasing demand for precious timber resources promotes immediate efforts to develop high-valuable hardwood in afforestation. However, the lack of valuable tree species seedlings afforestation and their ecological adaptability must primarily be addressed. To explore a resourcing afforestation, comparative analysis characteristics photosynthetic physiology leaf anatomy three different Quercus L. Section Cyclobalanopsis chungii, gilva, glauca was performed during growth stages (July, September, November) South China. results showed that there are significant differences physiological characteristic parameters, chlorophyll content, anatomical structure among each stage (p < 0.05). i.e., Pn, Gs, Tr, WUE Ci all had same trend increase from July September decrease November, with pick point stages. Pn Q. chungii higher than other two stage, highest an average value 8.26 μmol·m−2·s−1 obtained which 13.77% 20.06% gilva at time, respectively. Significant were also detected fluorescence Fo, Fm, Fv/Fm, Y, ETR, qP, NPQ within November thickness mature decreased order as glauca, gilva. From more notable changes observed drop 3.49% thickness, 3.34% 10.06% volume palisade tissue sponge tissue, Consequently, tightness deducing looseness chungii. principal component (PCA) on photosynthesis displayed stronger positive coordination water, air, light, heat. These findings facilitate evaluation provide compelling evidence application

Growth Characteristics of Ectomycorrhizal Seedlings of Quercus glauca, Quercus salicina, Quercus myrsinaefolia, and Castanopsis cuspidata Planted in Calcareous Soil
To verify the acclimation capacity of evergreen Fagaceae species on calcareous soil, we compared ecophysiological traits between Quercus glauca Thunb., Q. salicina Blume, Q. myrsinaefolia Blume, and Castanopsis cuspidata (Thunb.) Schottky as typical woody species from southwestern Japan. We also examined the inoculation effects of the ectomycorrhizal (ECM) fungi Astraeus hygrometricus and Scler...

lnvestigaltons into the nature of desiccation-sensitive, or recalcitant, seed behavior have as yet failed to identify exact causes of this phenomenon. Experiments with Quercus nigra L. and Quercus alba L. were conducted to examine physiological and biochemical changes brought about by seed desiccation and to determine if there were predictable changes in seed moisture content, m enthalpy (heat ...

Phylogeny and Introgression of California Scrub White Oaks (Quercus section Quercus)
The taxonomy of oaks (Quercus) is always a challenge because many species exhibit variable phenotypes that overlap with other species. The scrub White Oaks of California are no exception. In California, Quercus section Quercus (i.e., White Oaks) includes six species of scrub oaks plus four tree oak species. Field identification utilizes leaf traits and acorns, when available, as well as geograp...
متن کاملLeaf Traits and Photosynthetic Light Response of Quercus Suber L. Seedlings Grown in a Combination of Light and Water Regimes
The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of two important factors: light and water availability on the leaf characteristics and the growth of plants. Seedlings of Quercus suber were grown under controlled conditions (greenhouse) with three light treatments (100, 27 and 3 % of incident light, open, shade and deep shade; respectively) and with daily irrigation. Since middle spring, one...
